Grip Fit

   There is a  rule of thumb for determining whether a grip is the right size for you. Take your normal grip, then remove your right hand (assuming that you are a right handed golfer). Now look at the left hand, which is still gripping the club. If the fingertips of your two middle fingers just touch your palm, the grip is the right size. If they dig into the palm it's too small, and if they miss by more than 1/8" it's too big.

 

    So why (besides the above rule itself) would you opt for a larger or smaller grip?

If you are not happy with the rule of thumb method , there is a more scientific way to measure your grip size.  Only two measurements required  as follows.

1. Using a inch ruler/tape measure to measure the distance between the Dominant Wrist Crease and the tip of the longest finger.
2. Next measure the length of the longest finger from the web to the tip.

3. Now refer to the chart below.
